Twelve members of the Youth Club plus four driver/helpers went to Blackpool for an afternoon on ice! A nice thought in this current hot weather. But things didn't quite go to plan ...

It appears to have slipped the minds of the Pleasure Beach Booking Office personnel that there was an ice show going on at the same time as our booking - Oops. Red faces or what! After a period of frantic 'phone calls between their various departments, we were eventually offered seats to see the show instead.

Well at least we now know how it's done, putting it into practise will have to wait until another day.
