In his first letter St. John the apostle wrote: ”What we have seen and heard we tell to you also, so that you may join with us in the fellowship that we have with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ; we do this in order that our joy may be complete”
If you are a non-catholic who would like to find out more about the catholic faith, you are most welcome to join our ‘Journey in Faith’.
This weekly discussion group meets in the presbytery from October through to April. The meetings begin with a short talk on an aspect of our Catholic faith followed by informal discussion.
This is a course (sometimes referred to as RCIA) in which Catholics share with people who are not Catholics the wonders of the Church. All non-Catholics who are interested in learning a little more about our faith are very welcome - husbands, wives, relations, neighbours or friends. It may also be of value to anyone who has lapsed from the practice of his or her faith.
Please be assured that this is not a ‘conversion class’; there is no need to make any kind of commitment either before or during the course.
If you are a Catholic with a non-Catholic friend you are welcome to bring them along.
If you would like to find out more about the group, please contact Anne Wormleighton at JourneyInFaith@St-JosephsAnsdell.net , or Father Turner at the presbytery
