St Joseph’s is a member of Churches Together in Ansdell, along with The White Church (United Reformed), Fairhaven Methodists, Ansdell Baptists, and St Paul’s (Church of England).

Liturgy Planning Group  
 

This group meets approximately every 6 weeks under the leadership of Fr John to review the liturgies of the parish and plan forthcoming services. Membership is flexible and anyone is welcome to join for any period of time. Meetings are advertised in the parish bulletin and on the news section of this web-site

Eucharistic Ministers  
 

The parish is blessed with 43 Special Ministers of the Eucharist who assist at all Masses in the distribution of Communion and take the Eucharist to the sick and housebound of the parish weekly.

Children's Liturgy  
 

Each Sunday, children between the ages of 3 and 11 are invited into the Presbytery to explore the Liturgy of the Word. This is done by discussion and actiivities, and is designed to help them understand how Jesus wants them to live their lives. We have a team of people who work with our children each week and we would welcome anyone who would like to join us.

There is a team who arrange coffee in the church hall after 9.30am Sunday Mass. On the 4th Sunday of each month (after the children's Mass) bacon and saussage butties are available too - yum!
