Traidcraft

Fairly traded goods are on sale on a regular basis on the first Sunday of every month following the 9-30 Mass. In addition, on every alternate month, ie March, May, July, September and November, they will also be sold after the other two weekend Masses

For more information you can link to following web sites:

Traidcraft, Fair Trade on-line, Make Trade Fair

Fair Trade
The Fylde Fair Trade group has been working towards Fair Trade status for Fylde Borough. There are now sufficient shops, hotels, churches, schools etc. providing or using fairly traded products to meet the required standards of the Fair Trade Federation.

The only shortfall is in cafes and restaurants. Do you own or have influence in a catering establishment? When eating out do you ask if they are serving fairly traded tea or coffee? We need eleven places where food is served to commit themselves to at least the choice of fairly traded foods then Fair Trade status could be achieved. If you can help by letting us know of such places then please ring Sylvia on 720212.

Hospital Chaplain's Message

Bishop's Request

WILLS BEQUESTS

Through the dedication and generosity of our predecessors the Church is alive in the Diocese of Lancaster. Our churches and our schools are their loving heritage to us.

A legacy is one way of supporting the Church. It can be made to the Bishop for works of evangelisation or for particular projects – the Sick and Retired Priests’ Fund, the poor…..

They may be made to the Parish for a specific purpose or for general needs. Please think of the Church when making your will.
