Notes of the 66th meeting held in the Presbytery
On Tuesday 17th June 2008
Present:

1) The meeting opened with a prayer.
2) Apologies - Ian Gilly Ross, Andy Severyn
3) The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed.
4) Matters Arising - Kate reported that Grass Roots was folding due to
lack of funds.
5) Evangelisation: -
- Benediction - Greg has spoken to Anne Cawthorne who was happy for us
continue and to and Fred who said that he will put Fr Michael's article in his
newsletter. Greg also spoke to Liz Kelly about introducing the children to Benediction.
She said that she will be speaking to Fr Ruscillo and will ask him about Benediction
for children. Greg to speak to Pauline Drake and David Tansey about the possibility
of including something in the First Communion and Confirmation Programmes.
- CASE/KIT groups - Greg has done some research on CASE website and they
do a Parish pack which could be put out in church or in the library etc. They
can give training.
6) Communication
- Notice Board - Greg will raise this at the next Parish Council to see if it
can be tidied up.
AOB - Kate and Jan reported that they had been to Cenacolo and thought
that it was very inspirational. They asked if we could promote it more and sell
the "bricks" for them. It was decided that the "brick" selling
should be launched after the article has appeared in The Voice (which would
have to be Sept after school holidays) and that someone from Cenacalo should
come to launch it.
