was discussed (looking for ideas for community to do together), day at the Methodist
Church on May 19th - for "older people" - Jan to put a notice in the
bulletin.
6) Evangelisation: -
- Benediction - suggestions were put to the Parish Council about the change
in the time; Father has agreed to this to try to encourage people to attend.
Greg has spoken to Fred who said that he would put something in his next bulletin
(June) about the history etc.
The change of time needs to be advertised and it was agreed that this should
coincide with Fred's article.
- The Clowning Vicar - Paul Kelly went to a meeting with Rowly Bain (the Clowning
Vicar) about making Sunday's fun. He has been booked for Sunday 18th January
2009 for the day so that he can be involved in each Mass and in church in between.
- CASE/KIT Groups - to be carried forward.
- Andy told the group about the Sion Community and the missions they do. Everyone
thought that this would be a good idea for the end of the Centenary Year. Greg
said that he would look into it.

- Cenacolo feedback - Jan said that they have started work on the barn - 2 parishes
have already raised £50,000 for them to start. Jan also reported that
the food collection at the

so much going
on in the parish that this should take a back burner for the time being.

and Richard to ask Paul Kelly re helping hands)
- Greg said that he would ask Kate about Grass Roots.
AOB - none.
