St Joseph’s Parish Ansdell Development Team

Notes of the 62nd meeting held in the Presbytery
On Tuesday 12th February 2008

1) The meeting opened with a prayer.
2) Apologies - Richard
3) The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed.
4) Matters Arising - Ian yet to start - Greg will speak to him.
5) 12 month plan - Greg handed out a restructured plan;
Churches Together - it was decided that this was a good platform for Evangelisation and this could be achieved by encouraging the Churches to join for the Taize evening and for Easter Services and the parish participating in Help, Health and Hope. Jan said that she would spread the word about the services.
Participation and Taking Ownership - a Parish Involvement Sheet (created by Greg) is to be put in Church for parishioners to fill in.
Supporting the Wider Community - Cenacolo - Greg took the "Buy a Brick" idea to the Parish Council and they approved it. Need to sort out the particulars of it. Kate and Jan will sort out how this should be done.
6) Parish Council Feedback - Centenary ball - 5th September
- Passover Meal - 15th March
- Father Harry does not have to attend all meetings
- Liturgy Group to ask all groups to do the Bidding Prayers for each month.
7) Spirituality Group Feedback - Greg attended this meeting and fed back to the group; Refresher courses mentioned as requested by feedback from the
Parent's cheese and wine evening
- Start up a "Welcome" team to go and visit Parishioners to give advice and further info. Greg said that he would talk to Liz Kelly about this and ask her to talk to St Peter's Parish.
8) Fylde Strategic Partnership - Richard is our contact. Kate will pass on Greg's email address.
9) Helping Hands - ways to help; prayers, practical help (Pots of Hope etc), presentation to Parish etc.
10) Reaching Out - Greg reported that he is now a member of the Social Committee and has asked other groups to put the PDT as an item on their agendas.
11) AOB - the PDT have been asked to do the Stations of the Cross on 29th Feb. All agreed that they would.

Tuesday 11th March at 7pm
