Notes of the 61st meeting held in the Presbytery
On Tuesday 15th January 2008
Present:
Helen Shields
Greg Ormerod
Mary Hesketh
Father Harry
Jan O'Neill
1) The meeting opened with a prayer.
2) Apologies - Kate, Richard and Bill Drake.
3) The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed.
4) Matters Arising - Fylde Strategic Partnership - Greg will talk to
Kate about this.
Churches Together Ash Wednesday - this has been passed to the Liturgy Team.
Bill Cookson to stand down now that Ian Gilly Ross is to join the team.
5) Priority Setting - it was decided that the team should have set of
priorities (a plan) to direct future meetings. This should cover 4 areas: Evangelisation,
Participation & Taking Ownership, Supporting the Wider Community & Communication.
Under each heading there was discussion about how these could be achieved. Greg
to re-draft and bring for review next meeting.
6) Communication of team activities - It was decided that the bulletin,
Fred's newsletter, the notice board and the Parish web site should all be used
to communicate the team's activities. Helen to publish the minutes on the Parish
website and to put them on the notice board at the back of Church. It was also
decided that information should be passed to the Parish Council.
Aall members in other groups to ask for input into the Parish Development Team
agenda to open up communications. Greg said that he would find a group to join
to spread the word.
7) AOB - Greg to attend the Parish Council meeting.
- The notice board at the back of Church needs updating.
- Greg to talk to Liz Kelly about Father not having to attend all meetings.
8) Date of the next meetings:
Tuesday 12th February at 7pm
Tuesday 11th March at 7pm
