Minutes of Liturgy Planning Group 12 November 2007
Present Mary Johnson (Chair), Pat Crean, Rosemary Page, Ann Zammit, Jan O'Neill, Charles O'Neill, Pauline Drake, Kathy Moore and Christine Woods.
Apologies Fr Harry, Anne Waters, Anne Cawthorn.
Minutes of last meeting agreed and accepted as accurate.
Matters arising
Bidding Prayers
A temporary rota for writing the bidding prayers has been agreed.
17th November C. Woods and A. Cawthorn
25th November Youth Group (Colin Ballard)
2nd December A Waters and P Crean
9th December P Drake and R Page
The children will read the bidding prayers on the 4th Sunday of each month during
the Children's Mass starting on December 23rd.
Café Material
- Find out if Spirituality group want the material
- Defer decision until after Mgr Verity's weekend
Benediction
Concerns over poor attendance.
Monitor situation and consult with Fr Harry
Forward Planning
Churches Together Taize at 8pm on Frid 29th November
Service of Reconciliation, Frid 14th December at 7pm (provisional) to be planned
by M Johnson and C Woods.
Christmas Services,
11.30pm Carol Service 24th December and Midnight Mass to be planned by A Cawthorn,
A Waters, A Zammit and P Crean.
10am Christmas Day Mass to be planned by P Drake and C Woods.

Recognition that the children's Masses being planned by the Spirituality Group
have been widely backed by the parish.
Minutes to be sent to:- website, Parish Council, PDT, CAFOD, Ch. Lit, Spirituality
Group.
