Notes of the 42nd meeting held in the Presbytery on Tuesday 14th March 2006

1) The opening prayer was led by Jan.
2) Minutes of the last meeting: these were agreed.
Matters arising - Financial Report; the results of the Stephen Moore meeting and Father Harry's comments have gone to Father Aiden Turner (Dean) and they will then go on to the Council of Priests and then to the Bishop and trustees)
- Survey; Edwina said that only 12 had been returned and that a breakdown needed to be done. Edwina proposed the following Sunday after 5pm Mass and Bill C. and Bill D. offered to help along with Father Harry. The results will then be passed to the Parish Council.
3) Tablet Article: This was generally thought to be a good idea (home visits) but it was thought that at the moment there were several outstanding jobs still to be completed (Parish database, skills register etc) before this can be looked at as it will involve a lot of work.
4) Edwina said that she would talk to Paul Kelly about this as he brought the article to the group's attention.
5) A.O.B.
Bill Drake is to talk at the next Pastoral Deanery meeting about the workings of our Development Group.
