Notes of 41st meeting held in the Presbytery on Tuesday 14th February 2006

1) Opening prayer was said together
2) Minutes of last meeting were agreed.
-Matters arising: Our Lady Star of the Sea - Helen has spoken to Jan Hornby and they will email something to the bulletin team
Deacons - this has still to be done
3) Survey - Edwina said that 3 had been returned so far but that more need to be returned by the deadline. Some more were returned at the meeting.
4) Catholic Caring Services - Pauline Drake is currently the parish representative.
5) AOB - Edwina handed out an article from The Tablet to be read for the next meeting.
- Father Harry said that he had received a letter regarding the state of the Diocese finances and the proposals to rectify the situation. He explained that the Diocese proposed that each parish should pay a levy to clear the historical debt.
- Stephen Moore is to talk to the parish sometime in March about the trouble the diocese is in and the proposals to go forward.
- There needs to be a report from the parish by 15th March (a report is needed before that for the Deanery meeting)
- Edwina to speak to Stephen Moore about speaking to the parish.
