Matters Arising
¢ 9.30 am Mass. C.Woods had written to the parishioner involved and his response was noted.
¢ Robert Bamber Singers: F.Dronsfield had put up notices to announce this event. The Singers will be sending their own publicity material, this will be displayed. C.Woods will write to Fr. Flynn and Cannon Turner to invite their parishioners. J.O'Neill will advise the Churches Together in Ansdell group of the date and will distribute posters at their meeting, this week. It was decided to provide light refreshments in the Hall following the service.
¢ Churches Together in Ansdell, Sunday evenings in Lent. We have no further information about this. P.Crean will contact J.O'Neill as, if the group is to help with the service at St Joseph's, we need to know the subject matter and the date.

With Hearts and Minds
P.Drake described the Liturgy Day she had attended, run by Fr Geoffrey Steel and Fr. Paul Johnstone. There had been a very good attendance. The subject matter was similar to that of the parish liturgy day last year with Fr Foulkes. P.Drake shared some literature from the day including a paper on good practise and better practise in celebrating the Eucharist. These will be copied for the group. We were pleased to hear that we fall within the better practise group, but there are several points for discussion and perhaps change. Pauline told us that the music part of the meeting had been excellent, and she reported that Fr.Johnstone, who is based at the Willows, had offered to provide a Music Study day for the deanery which we all felt would be welcomed.
The With Hearts and Minds programme was discussed and the possibility of running this in the Parish considered. We all agreed this would be a priority for the group to discuss with Fr.Harry after Easter. E.Kelly would raise the suggestion of the course at the next Parish Council to gauge reaction.
A.Cawthorn suggested we clarify what the Mission of the Liturgy Group is, and whether we would need to rethink it in the light of the Parish Need Survey responses, and in discussion with the PDT. All members of the group were asked to consider this for our post Easter meeting.
