1. Paul opened the meeting and welcomed those present.

2. Fr Aidan then led a prayer & a period of reflection on Luke 6:17-26.

3. Notices Co-ordinator: It was agreed that Marie Cookson and Thelma Cookson should be approached to fulfil the role of ensuring appropriate currency of the notices displayed and in liaison with Parish groups develop ideas for "special" displays.
Secretary's note: Marie Cookson and May Golightly have agreed to undertake the role.

4. Youth: Deacon Michael is meeting with 16-20 year olds on 19 Feb to discuss their needs and aspirations within the Parish community.

5. The Hall: It was confirmed that Arthur Bowyer would be undertaking the caretaker role and that Cath Kelly was now responsible for reservations.

6. Mass Books: In view of pending liturgical changes (probably within the next 5 years) it was agreed not to incur the expense of Mass books. Alternative ideas were discussed but more information on costs was needed before any decision is taken.

7. PDT Retreat: This is day retreat planned for 9 May and will include Mass and time for quiet reflection as well as a Team development session with Dympna McGee. It is hoped to arrange a full Parish retreat later in the year.

8. Parish Census: It was agreed that this would be a massive task but the Team were unanimous that a Census should be done this year. It was thought that the last Census was done around 30 years ago so it was important to update Parish records. Before proceeding Kat Hallion agreed to discuss our intentions with the 5 Churches in Ansdell group to explore whether there was any benefits in completing the Census on an ecumenical basis.

9. Data Protection: Bernard agreed to check and ensure that the Parish registration was completely up to date.

10. House Groups: 44 people have so far expressed an interest in joining a group.

11. Collaborative Ministry Course: Wanda briefed the Team on her involvement on this course. The course explores the different ministries undertaken within a Parish and the wider Church community, deepens awareness of these roles and emphasises the role of mission which through our own Baptism we are all called upon to undertake.

12. Date of Next Meeting: Thursday 4 March at 8:00pm

13. The meeting closed at 9:45 with a prayer.
